Happy Tuesday!
Tonya here to share with you our first tutorial at All that Stickles. Please be patient with me, as this is my first tutorial ever. :-)
One of the first techniques I thought of when we started bringing All that Stickles to life was stencils. I love to stencil our walls at home. So, I thought I'd try Stickles and stencils to create a card and see how it worked. Love it!
I have a Silhouette Cameo so I took some basic stencil font in the program.
And I cut the font out on white cardstock.
*Note - You could use stencils out of the school supply section or cut from a Cricut as well.
Here is the cardstock template all cut out and out of the machine.
To make sure the stencil did not move while I worked with the Stickles, I took some scotch tape and adhered the cardbase and the stencils in a few places.
I Stickled right in the open places on my template, and let it dry.
The card after the Stickles dried and template removed.
To finish the card off, I inked around the edges with Festive Berries Distress Ink and added some white pearls too for some interest.
I love this card. I think I just might give it to hubby. ;-)
Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to check out
this week's anything goes linky party. :-)
